Clement possesses a rich background in development work, emphasizing social and behavior change communication, journalism, and development communication, alongside youth empowerment, advocacy, project management, and resource mobilization. His career includes roles in various local and international nonprofits such as Youth Empowerment for Life (YEFL-Ghana), Ghana Developing Communities Associations (GDCA), and Agriculture for Nutrition and Poverty Alleviation (ANPA), culminating in a position as Communications Specialist for USAID Advancing Nutrition at JSI Research and Training Institute Inc.
He holds a Master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Amity University, India, a post-graduate diploma in Sustainable Agriculture from the Danish Agricultural Advisory Centre, Denmark, and a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Development Studies from the University for Development Studies, Ghana. Clement has additional diplomas in Journalism and Marketing from the Institute of Business Management and Journalism, with post-graduate certificates in Project Management and NGO Management from the Cambridge Centre for Excellence, Ghana, enhanced by numerous other capacity-building courses.
Currently a PhD candidate in Social Change Communication at the University for Development Studies, Ghana, Clement is an active member of local and global networks. His fellowships include Danida, Journalist-to-Journalist (under National Press Foundation, USA), Acumen West Africa, Biosciences for Agriculture in Africa (B4FA), and he is a member of the African Network of Environmental Journalist (ANEJ) and the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA).
